Golf Course
The Hondo Golf Course is in the heart of God's Country and offers a fun and family oriented environment. With 9 holes and continued improvements, the golf course remains as one of the City's valuable forms of entertainment. Staff takes great pride in hosting numerous golf tournaments, washer pitching tournaments, and providing the best golfing experience for everyone.
The course is fun for the whole family! The weekly Wednesday Scramble kicks off in March and runs through the summer. There are numerous tournaments throughout the summer including the Hondo-D'Hanis Rotary Club tournament, the Lions Club tournament, the Knights of Columbus tournament and, of course, the Scott Muennink Memorial Throwdown. Some are traditional and some are a little on the wild side including toilets, frisbees, slingshots, and live music.
