GENERAL ELECTION INFORMATION
The City Council of the City of Hondo, Texas ordered on February 13, 2012 that a general municipal election be held on May 12, 2012, for the purpose of electing the following three officials of the City: Mayor, City Council Member Place 1, and City Council Member Place 2.
Ordinance No. 949-03-12 was passed and approved by the City Council of the City of Hondo on March 12, 2012, declaring the unopposed candidates for the Office of Mayor, City Council Member Place 1, and City Council Member Place 2 as Elected and Cancelling the May 12, 2012 Election.
